LINKOPING TRAIN STATION

LEARN MORE ABOUT FACILITIES, OPEN HOURS, ACCESSIBILITY AND HISTORY OF THE LINKOPING CENTRAL STATION AND TRAVEL WELL-PREPARED.

Beautiful Linkoping Central Station has been built back in 1871. The architecture makes this station stand out from the rest of Swedish Railway station as it was inspired by the Renaissance Revival architecture. The architect Adolf W. Edelsvard designed the station with two floors, symmetric style and painted it red and yellow colours. Nearby the station, you will find short stay car park and cycle parking for your convenience.

The station is situated in the southern mainline that connects the capital of Stockholm with the coastal city of Malmo. This town is also known to have a unique dialect, as locals often change vowels to diphthongs - hence you hear longer words. If you are waiting for your Linkoping-Stockholm train, you can visit one of a few restaurants and cafes or even take photos in a photobooth.
